The purpose of this training is to better equip your huddles for ministry and to allow us to pour into you personally.  We cannot continue to be effective in ministry without knowing the direction our area ministry is going and how we can effectively spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Here are a few topics that we will be learning about at this mid-winter training.

·         Campus 101 – Online training for campus ministry

·         Ministry Leadership Applications – The importance of preserving the doctrine of FCA and youth protection policies

·         Scholarship Information – How do you apply for a sports camp scholarship?

·         Leadership Camp Sign up! – We will have a sign-up sheet this night.

·         Do’s and Don’ts of a Campus Huddle – Bring your ideas of what is working and not working at your Campus Ministry.  I need your input!

·         “Top 10 ways that FCA can improve locally” plus “Top 10 ways we are winning the battle!”

'Drew Brees Study Series – Part 3'

READY:
“Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Your heart must not be troubled or fearful.”
-
John 14:27

SET:
This weekend, New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees will lead his team onto the field to take on the Indianapolis Colts in Super Bowl XLIV. In a recent interview with FCA’s Sharing the Victory magazine, Brees talked about faith lessons from the field.

Today, the daily Impact Play will feature part three of Sharing the Victory’s four-part video study series based on the interview. Click the video link below to watch the clip and then answer the questions. Finish by reading the related Scripture and asking God to work in your heart as a result of what you’ve learned.

Check Out the Video.

GO:

  1. How do you handle pressure? Are you calm or do you panic?
  2. What does your reaction to pressure reveal about your character? What does it say you believe about yourself? About God?
  3. Do you completely and fully trust God with the results of your athletic performance? Why or why not?
  4. How did Jesus react to pressure?
  5. How does your poise (or lack thereof) model Christ to those around you?

WORKOUT:
Ephesians 6:10,
Philippians 4:4-9,
Colossians 3:15
