FCA receives scholarship funding from the Community Foundation of Washington County MD, Inc.

 

HAGERSTOWN, MD. --The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) of Western Maryland received a $3,000 award from the Community Foundation of Washington County MD, Inc. on February 12. FCA Area Director Scott Myers and board members, Pat Provost, Amanda Wells and Mike Cline, attended the ceremony in the Atrium at the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts.

The $3,000 award will help provide full or partial scholarships to underprivileged youth attending local and regional FCA summer camps. FCA offers two local camps for children ages 8-13. Power Camp, a sports specific camp, will be held on June 22-26 at Tri-State Fellowship in Hagerstown, Md. The FCA Outdoors Camp will be offered from July 6-10 at the Izaak Walton League outside of Clear Spring, Md.
